Meet Rachel
I am a UX/UI and Web Designer with a passion for creating unique yet easy to use websites. My background in Landscape Architecture has given me a solid foundation in various design principles. Throughout my career, I have worked on many diverse projects, ranging from small business marketing sites to large-scale internal web-based software solutions.
I relocated to Florida a few years ago, but my hometown is White Plains, New York. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, complemented by a Minor in Recreation and Protected Area Management.
My journey into the realm of UX/UI Design began during my final year of college when I took elective web design and computer courses, igniting a passion that has only grown since. Following my graduation, I gained valuable experience working with two esteemed consulting companies on Long Island, actively contributing to web design and development projects.
After moving out of New York, I decided to try out freelancing full-time, but ultimately decided it wasn't for me. Currently, I work for a hospitality company in Kissimmee, Florida as a Web Producer.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 2 cats, Stitch and Coda. I also like playing computer/video games, cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, and going to Walt Disney World.
